Hampton Bay fan light not working
I have a fan with 5 lights. One of the lights burned out and I changed it with an identical light bulb. I cannot get the lights to come on. I have a dimmer switch that operates both the fan and its lights. I am wondering if there is a fuse in the fan somewhere or if I should start with the dimmer switch on the wall. Any suggestions?

Now NONE of the lights will come on?
Is it a remote fan? Check all of the connections, and try bypassing the dimmer switch as well. See: General ceiling fan troubleshooting and help FAQ- Ceiling Fans N More |

So since the dimmer switch controls lights and fan is the fan working
There should not be any fuse in the fan for the lights -- if you lost Power check dimmer or breaker... Replacing bulb usually doesn't Cause problems -- may have problem with light wiring... The other thing to consider is that a dimmer switch is Not supposed to be used with ceiling fans or the new Energy saving neon bulbs... |
