    Teenage shoplifter
    My 17 year old was stopped for shoplifting last Sat. My child and friend were taken behind closed doors by a single manager. My child emptied handbag, pockets , etc and no merchandise was found. Manager claimed empty package had been returned to rack. Police were notified. A ticket was given to my child. No search by the police was performed. Location of shop, Grapevine, Texas. What is my next best course of action. Child must appear on March 4 for hearing.

    You most likely need a lawyer and proof of evidence needs to be brought up. The fact that nothing was found on her, etc...
    It could maybe end up he said/she said.
