    Squeaky frididaire stacking dryer
I've read what to do for a regular dryer and replacing the bearing but is it the same for a stacking unit with the dryer on top?

I would be fairly certain that the basic design of the stacking dryer is the same as a conventional dryer.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
I just followed appleguys instructions on a fridgedar gallery stacking unit. I love you appleguy. Silence is golden!! If you give me your paypal I will send you $10 gladly.

Note: there are two screws in the front of the stacking unit covered by plastic tabs, before following appleguys awesome instructions, remove the plastic covers, remove two screws and that unit comes right off no problem!!

    Appleguy for president!!

Good evening everyone! My 3 year old Kenmore Stacking Dryer just developed a clunking sound in the past two drying cycles. The sound is similar to the one produced if you put a sneaker in the dryer and each rotation the sneaker would bounce off the drum. We live about 45 miles from the nearest...
