    Credit card debt?
I know this friend of mine whom owes like 1000.00 in a credit card which has currently went to collections. She's currently paid it down to this amount a few months ago. Well currently she is unemployed until February. She's very worried but as soon as she can make a payment she's going to. Her husband has tried to help out by telling them he can make a payment on a certain date. The collection people act like this isn't good enough they need it today. Well he doesn't have the money exactly when they say they need it, but is willing to pay as he gets paid. I think the payments are under 200.00 a month
What does she do? Its not like it's a big 6000.00 and she's doing her best ,but when you don't have it due to unemployment and is going back to work, plus her husband has tried to help as well. Darned if you do and darned if you don't.:(
    Thanks

First, they write a letter to the card company requesting that all further correspondence be in writing. Second, they sit down and hammer out a budget that shows what they can pay towards the card each month. They then offer the creditor a payment plan that they both can live with and adhere to it.
