    1990 Civic DX No start
I have a 1990 Civic DX 1.5L and within it started and ran fine for about one mile. After accelerating from a red light, the car sputtered and died. It would crank and crank but would not catch. There are no codes showing on the pass floorboard and the CEL comes on for two seconds and goes off with a click like normal, but the fuel pump is quiet. I managed to get it running with carb cleaner and it ran very briefly, but I could not duplicate this result. I looked through several other posts and most people were able to hear the fuel pump, so it did not really get me anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Run through the tests, outlined in Sections A and B, below:

. Test all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Perform the K-Test on the ECM.
