    Whirlpool Icemaker not getting water
I've read a few other posts on this subject, and have done a few checks...

    Model ED22TEXHW03
\Getting water from supply line OK, and the water in door feature works
\Solenoid is dual type, but has separate connections. Had fridge plugged in (is this wrong?), removed electric connectors and checked voltage in (.5 each side) and resistance (169 OHMS water to icemaker side and 338 OHMS water to door side).

So, do I need a new solenoid? Do I need to check something else?

    Thanks

You should not use a dual type. Most likely there is a defect. You should also retrace your steps and check the voltage. Things like that require preciseness!
