    Outside Outlet Doesn't Work
I had my pressure washer plugged into my patio outside outlet while spraying down the deck directly above the patio. The pressure washer plug/patio outlet got wet from the water coming down from the deck and the pressure washer stopped. I relocated the plug to the one on the deck and it too eventually went dead. None of the circuit breakers tripped, but I turned them off then on again and still no power to the outlets. Any suggestions on what I can do?

First you have to determine if outlet has power -- a corded radio works

Set radio to station and make sure it's working -- then test outlet

Any power tool or trouble light will also work for the test

I like a radio as you can test breakers and hear when power is on

If there is power at outlet problem is with power washer

Some units like this have overloads with a reset on the motor

Hope this helps -- Please rate my answer

Look for a GFCI somewhere. It is their job to shut the power off if the outlet gets wet or other ground faults. They have been required for outside outlets for a long time. One GFCI can protect a number of outlets. Finding it and pushing the reset may be all you need to do. GFCI protected outlets should be marked.
