    Should a toilet have hot water? Is it healty to have a hot water toilet?

    It's OK, it won't do any damage to the toilet. But how has that happened? Sounds like someone fed a hot line to the toilet.

    As I understand it, hot water in the toilet causes the wax to settle and you will get an odor.
