    Tub Size
Would like to change a tub on a slab from a 30" to a 32". Also a much deeper tub.

Will I have much too do to line up the new drain? I can get to the "P Trap" through a
    Wall in the next room.

Also, how do I know if the existing hot water tank will have enough hot water through the 1/2" piping?

Also, do I need a small cement "Mud" base under the tub to stiffen it or are the new
    Fiberglass tubs stronger now?

    Thank you

    1) You will have to move the trap a inch or so. See if it will swing over that much.
    2) A 40 gallon hot water tank should be plenty big enough to handle your larger tub.
    3) If all the manufacture put under the tub is a styrofoam base then it's advisable to mud in the bottom for support.
    Good luck. Tom
