    Ceilingfan hamptonbay(type)
    What to do when the fan or light will not come on when all connectins are correct? The control wall remote wire has 2 black wires 1 green but the light switch which was there had only a black green and red to conect too.I am not getting no indication that there is no power

    How did you connect it? Are you sure all connections are correct? Is this an RF type remote control? We need more information!
