IF it isn't working return it. I just installed a brand new one for a customer last week that came from Lowe's that would not work. Had to take it down and return it for a replacement. Quite an inconveinence but they had 5 others in the cart that had be returned because they didn't work either. 2nd one worked perfect. But had about 3 hrs in job because of the return trip.

I just had a new ceiling fan installed (Harbor Breeze "cheshire" fan). The blades will only go in reverse (counter clockwise). I've tried moving the "reverse" button on the base, but when I do the fan stops and doesn't switch directions. Am I missing something? Please help!

Choosing a brand of ceiling fan [ 1 Answers ]

Is the Hunter brand of ceiling fan less problem prone than Hampton Bay or Harbor Breeze? It seems that you have a LOT of Hampton Bay complaints. I'm choosing a new fan and would appreciate advice.
