Hi there. Me and my Husband have been married for over a year now and I can't seem to get an orgasm when he's on top. But I can when I'm the one doing the work. You probably need the clitoral stimulation, which can easily be achieved with you on top but not him. There are a loads of positions where he could be doing the work but reach round with his hand as well. Don't know how much detail I can get into on here... Anyway try buying a good book on positions and have a go experimenting.

I'm no expert but personal experience makes me think this is the case.

Also perhaps he could go down on you, which is pretty easy for you and queit effective for a lot of women.

Its all in positioning yourself, and a bigger part is him knowing what to do... even then the man on top really just isn't good for getting many women off. Mostly due to physiological reasons. Some women have the cl1t right next to the vaginal opening others are far enough away to make stimulation hit or miss in the wrong positions ( just one example). Result being many women just aren't going to get off in missionary without self stimulation.

This is absolutely true.

Not all can take direct cl!toral stimulation by a partner, or by self stim during sex, but its something you should try. My personal experience... missionary is a position my partner enjoys, but she doesn't reach orgasm. Not with me. Not with previous partners. Other positions, such as woman on top, are much more productive. Some positions also require her to self stimulate with a wet finger as well.

Explain to your mate that this is about getting multiple stimulations, not about his not being enough. The first time a partner self stimulated during sex it was a little surprising, but the results were great. When a partner does this during sex I never think "im doing this wrong"... I think "shes doing everything she can to hit orgasm" and its sexy as sin.

One woman I dated could always get off in missionary with direct finger stimulation. She was "unique" in that she could take more direct, stronger stimulation... meaning I could be inside her, raised up off her, and use my hand to stimulate her cl!toris. Worked like a charm all the time.

In some variations of missionary, where you are a little more toward one side, top leg raised, and he's at more of a side angle, more kneeling... you can actually self stimulate yourself and sometimes "catch" his shaft with a finger and he moves in and out... meaning you might do yourself a favor and at the same time introduce new sensations on his side.

No matter what you do, don't fret. Its not at all uncommon to favor some positions.
