    Dual citizenship for portugal
    Hello. My children's father is Portuguese by birth. I am American. I would like my children to hold dual citizenship for America/Portugal. Any information on how to complete this process would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

    Dear friend,

    Your children are eligible to apply for the native Portuguese citizenship as child of a Portuguese citizen.

    However, there are some information I would have to know in order to provide accurate information, for example if you are married to their father.
