Dual Nationality - Portugal
I was born in Pakistan in 1963 and lived here all my life. My parents had come over from Goa before 1961 and were married in Pakistan. Both of them had Portugeese passports and had to cancel them in order to achieve Pakistani nationality probably in 1965. I am mentioned in one of my parents passport along with my elder sister and brother.
I believe Portugal does alow dual nationality. Can I apply for nationality on the basis of my history, if so how do I go about doing so?

Unfortunately, if your parents cancelled their Portuguese passports, and you were on one of those passports, then de jure you are no longer a Portuguese citizen. Portugal recognises Jus sanguinis birthright, however, you might still be able to reacquire your former portuguese citizenship because at one time you were a Portuguese national (vis-a-vis your parents). Portuguese and European nationality laws are very strict and you should find the nearest Portuguese consul in your location to clarify any issues you might have. Be sure to bring your mother's passport as proof of any connection to Portugal.

Unfortunately, you cannot apply for the Portuguese citizenship because your parents denounced their Portuguese citizenship.
