You're setting yourself up for heartache checking his Facebook page. You should spend that time hanging out with friends or taking up a new hobby, meeting new people, stuff like that. If you even think about typing his name in any kind of search, back away from the computer and find something else to do. Hang in there. It's hard but you'll be OK.

You are good at torturing yourself. If you loved yourself as much, you would be fine.

It seems to me that Facebook makes it a lot easier to see what exes are up to and generally continue to obsess than it used to be.

LOL! Yeah sort of... but he is not my friend on their so I can't see what he is up to. I had to (psychotically) call my friend and have him snoop around for me.
Talinaman! I really am good at torturing myself. I do know this! Really, I do! I wish I was as strong as I used to be in my young years and not care about anything!

Delete yourself off Facebook, period. There is absolutely no point in it. I have been Facebook free for the past three months now, probably the best move I made in the whole break up process. You have the power to stop the pain, so you need to take control... Facebook is step 1!

Thats so desperate.

You can stop the torture by doing some things for yourself that makes you happy, so you can love yourself, and leave him alone. Its not about strength, its about loving who you are, and not needing someone to make you feel like somebody special.
