Ok, may not like it, but I worked for the US Justice Department for years, went to law school, and worked for a short time in Ill.
What I told you is the issue. They may keep the items till there is a trial, and it is used as evidence, or until the case is dropped, That can take months ( at least) and up to the time statue of limitation for the crime runs out. |
