Anyone know about Illinois laws ?
Hello C:
Sure. What's up?

Here is what's up Ex...

Be prepared... She doesn't want to hear the truth.
Hello J:
Don't worry. I post on the current events page.. I deal with people who don't want to hear the truth ALL THE TIME.
To the OP, here's my assessment, and I didn't read everything on the other thread... You weren't arrested because of what you did or didn't do to your boyfriend.. You were arrested because HE stole the stuff. You HAVE it, so it LOOKS like YOU were involved.. If you weren't, then you simply plead NOT GUILTY, and make them PROVE you stole the stuff. If you didn't, then they can't PROVE you did.
It's as simple as that. Next?

Or, perhaps, they could convict her if they could prove that she possessed it knowing the stuff was stolen by someone else.Quote:

Hello lawyer:
She say's she didn't know.. Who am I to question her? But, what you say is true.

He the other person bought it for me and then turned around and told the police I deceived him but I signed a notorized letter stating it was a loan and I need to pay him back
He purchased everything on his cards and money nothing was stolen but when he told the police I deceived him and got the stuff they took it for evidence
Hello again, C:
Ok, then. You're not going to get the stolen stuff back, and you probably won't get the OTHER stuff back that they took..Quote:
I haven't been arrested
Yeah, I know. It ain't right. But that's probably what's going to happen...

It's not that I don't like the truth I do of course. It's that this is nuts I'm confused at how the police did what they did they got the notorized letter they can pull the cameras at the stores and see it was purchased both him and I were there they just wanted to make my life hell cause of my family name... Damn I hate cops I told them that to that probably explains it lol
Hello again, C:
Hmmm... I see what the others were saying... Ok, I'm going to give this one last go.
This is SIMPLE law. IF the items were NOT stolen, then the cops would NEVER break down a door over a disagreement about who OWES who.
You're confused, and you're apparently, not interested in getting UNCONFUSED.
Later.

What does your family name have to do with this?
The other stuff is things I had for years they even took a necklace with my uncles ashes they can't keep that can they ? They took that didn't have anything to do with anything . Ok the stuff he bought they can have but my stuff personal they can't can they?
What the others say OK I'm telling you they DID OK it wasn't stolen but the other party said I deceived him in getting them but he purchased them that's why I'm saying LAWSUIT
The Oswego police have had a lot of run ins with my brother uncles etc.
You have retained an attorney, correct?
Yes I have but I feel like we're just sitting and waiting he said ill get your stuff back OK I need it now
Your attorney is the one you need to go with. Not us. He is versed on the law in your state and with your situation. Not us. You MAY get your stuff back, but no matter what is said, it won't be NOW, like you want it to be. There are steps and procedures that need to be followed.
