    bakatak-70 and Rdana,
Yah mine are both just sitting. I just put in a brand new TR sensor (Neutral safety switch) and it didn't make the tranny work, but it did make the reverse lights work. They hadn't worked even after new bulbs and fuses. I saw that this year and model ford is being recalled for a cruise control fire hazard. One of the symptoms is the tranny being non-responsive. Another is the abs and brake light coming on. I wonder if some of our trannys are OK, but it is not working because of an electrical short. Could it be possible that the tranny issues are connected to some of the recalls. I wonder how many vehicles will never be connected to the recall that should, because we don't have the time and knowledge to prove that it is connected. I am already selling parts from my 2 death traps. I have a listing on Craigslist, so I can cannibalize my vans and hopefully help someone else prolong the inevitable with there own Windstars. I would suggest that to anyone that gets tired of chasing their tale over these firebombs. I think the only part of these vans that are any good are the windows. Google windstar recall .

PS. Again, what is the outcome for Jennifer's windstar? Did she part it out, Junk it, Fix it?

 Here's our situation: Our car is fine after the 20 mph mark if we're on a level road - it's great on the freeway. Below 20 mph, we have a hard time making turns, especially left turns. The only way to get going after stopping at an intersection is by putting the car in D2. If we're...
