I'll wait for that version to make any comments.
What makes you think it was edited at all? Because I don't think it was. If you can find a different version that shows the stuff that you think is left out then please submit it.

It was reported today that it was HEAVILY edited.

That it was made to look like she only had a short one sentence answer on many questions, but, without the editing, you would hear that she really had much more to say, than the one line they "allowed" to be shown.

On many questions, the second, and third, statements she made, to better clarify her position, were not included in the footage that has been shown.

The entire interview is "supposed" to air on Nightline, not sure when, unedited.

He's not talking about Alaska or its population. He's talking about Palin the individual. I don't think it matters where she's from.

Excuses Excuses... it was a direct question that she clearly doesn't even know how to answer. Gibson stated the question clear... I can't wait for the debate OBAMA is going to chew up McCain... Thanks for the transcript of the interview

Oh no?. he says and I quote "I know that she was mayor of a really... really small town"...

We aren't that small... it's just the people that live inside the city limits zoning.

I live in Wasilla, 7 miles OUTSIDE the zone... they aren't counting everyone who lives here.

No it wasn't . The Bush Doctrine is a broad principle philosophy of how to combat the "terrorists" /"radical jihadist "or whatever PC language they are called lately .Contained in the doctrine but not exclusive to the doctrine is the concept of preemption.

When Gibson clarified that his question was about the preemption part of the Bush Doctrine her answer was unambiguous and in my view correct :

PALIN: Charlie, if there is legitimate and enough intelligent and legitimate evidence that tells us that a strike is imminent against American people, we have every right to defend our country.

Ask 100 people on the street what the "bush doctrine" is and 97 of them won't know. So what? Who cares?

If the Bush Doctrine is "get them before they get us [if we have good evidence that they're coming after us]" and anyone disagrees, then they're daft.

... and Matt Damon is a complete idiot. He can join Baldwin and Sarandon in France.

... oh yeah, I forgot... Baldwin and Sarandon didn't move like they promised they would...

This isn't 97 people, it's the Republican VP nominee.

And here I thought the VP was irrelevant. This is getting comical, watching the sheer panic over the possibility the Dems might lose this election. Watching your guy trying to make himself relevant again because the Republican VP candidate is stealing his thunder. And to top it all off quoting odds from an actor that a 72 year old man that still hikes the Grand Canyon and whose 96 year old mother still looks pretty darn good might kick the bucket and then horror of horrors, we'd be stuck with an 'inexperienced' woman facing off with Putin.

My how times have changed in the last 2 weeks...

I'll reserve judgment on Palin's response to the "Bush doctrine" question until I see it, but I bet those 97 people know "New Pennsylvania" isn't one the of 57 states Obama has been to.

It not Comical... it about who has a better vision to lead the USA... We as american should challenge who we want to lead out nation. I feel if McCain chooses Palin as a VP why not challenge her on how she stands and how knowledgeable she is with certain issues. If McCain decided to choose former Gov McGreevy would the republican party be supportive or negative. I think we know the answer to that.
