Not enough info here... let's see.

A person gain citizenship through mother and father. So if your father is Portuguese, and he is legally married to your mother, and you were born overseas, he can report birth to the nearest Portuguese embassy.

But if your father is Argentinian, there is nothing you can do... forget grandpa...

You are eligible to apply for the Portuguese citizenship as grandchild of a Portuguese citizen and there are two possible procedures for you to do so.

If you father is still alive, he must obtain the Portuguese citizenship first and after that you will be eligible to apply for the Portuguese citizenship as child of Portuguese citizen.

If your father has passed away, you can obtain the Portuguese citizenship through naturalisation.

There are some questions I would need to make you in order to provide you accurate information regarding to the application, documents you must gather, requirements , etc.

I am a dual Greek and UK national. If I want to travel to Greece in January '08, would I need to take both passports with me (i.e use UK passport to the UK and Greek passport in Greece) or would one passport suffice for both countries as they are both EU member states?
