    Gas pipe sizing
    Hello all,
Not sure if this belongs here or in plumbing. I will ask here and if it needs to be moved I will re-ask in plumbing.
Need to feed a 100,000btu furnace with natural gas. The furnace will be located on a 2nd floor approx. 100' from the meter. I have figured 6-7 elbows or 90's I think this adds another 50' of piping. So total length of 150' of piping. I was going to run 1.25" pipe the first 60' then reduce to 1" for 40' and end with 3/4".
The gas supply is normal delivery pressure 7" WC or 1/4 pound.
Asking for the experts to check my sizing.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know how to cut and paste on my Kindle and right now I'm on WiFi in the GA mountains. However if you "Google Gas piping size worksheet" you will find out to account for runs and fittings. Is your meter 1.25"?
