This is sooo weird... what do I do?
I suffer from about 5 mental health disorders. All but one I accumulated during my 20's and after I had deployed twice to Iraq. ADHD I was diagnosed at the age of 14. When I was 22 I went on my first deployment after just being in the army for a little over 9 months, and at my duty station Ft. Bragg NC, for only 2 months. My life changed forever. I was never the same. I developed a drug addiction as a way to cope with the horrors I saw. Now mind you the drugs didn't help me, they only made me worse. I suffer from PTSD, Anxiety Disorder, Clinical Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar II/Bipolar NOS, and Mood Disorder. I am currently on meds right now and they do help tremendously.
    Here's the tricky part...
Now that I got my mind right my body is doing some weird stuff. Lately it's like my skin feels weird. Like elasticity and weird. It feels like I can just pull it off me. Then I'm starting to hear things that are not there. Especially in the shower. Every time I got in the shower its like I hear a TV or radio playing. Or if it's just me alone I hear my name being called but no one is there. I don't know what all of this means or how to get rid of these feelings. Is it possibly a sign of Schizophrenia? Scared 😓. Any advice?

Have you told this to the prescribing doctor(s)? Are you involved in any kind of talk therapy?

Yes mam I did tell my doctor about the skin thing and he just wrote it off as just a side effect from the meds and since its not a life threatening side effect it's OK to continue me on the meds. The hearing things though just started up about 3 weeks ago. I do go to therapy as well, group and individual, but I haven't discussed these issues within my group therapy only to my individual therapist and he says that if the voices get worse and I can actually start making out what they say then I need to make my way to the hospital.

I have a white-noise maker in my bedroom to drown out house and outside noises while I sleep. It's a steady drone, somewhat like the noise a shower makes. The harmonics are such that I "hear" muted orchestra music or sometimes voices like a newscast beneath the drone. I wonder if you're having the same experience with the shower droning noise. Your meds may be heightening that experience, making your hearing and reactions more sensitive. Could that be what's going on?

When you can make out what they are saying????
Oh me oh me, is this at a VA clinic?
Never heard such poor advice in my life.
Aside from shower noises, you are hearing your name being called.
This could be a big med cocktail bunch of side effects. It could be part of PTSD, especially if fears while you are alone are heightened.
Can you get a blood pressure wrist cuff? Take your bp and pulse when you hear voices. If it's shooting up, it might be PTSD. There has been success with using bp drugs during/just before an attack.
PLEASE bring it up in group, since your doctor is shrugging it off.
