Plumber has changed a main stopcock that leaked in our flat
Plumber has changed a main stopcock that leaked in our flat and replaced a small piece of pipework next to it which had two small pieces of pipes connected with a nut, he put there just one longer pipe and said that it's better to have less connecting points, replacement copper pipe was slightly smaller then needed so he just forced ends to meet each other and said it's OK OK to do so. Please can anyone tell me if it is really OK?

Hi shura and welcome, No way to answer that. If there's no leak you'll probably be OK.
