Get her to notice me
I act like a gentleman around her. I smell nice. I look my best but she doesn't notice me. What do I do? How can I talk to her alone to ask her out myself?
Oh I also forgot to mention her best friend is like always with her. You can't pry them apart.

What would you do if you ask her out? Maybe her parents don't allow her to date yet.

Is there a second choice?
Talk with lots of girls, chubby and thin, cute and not so cute, tall and short -- get to know other kids so you don't have just one egg in your basket. Try to get inside their skin and understand where they are coming from. Make some new friends that way.

You are 12 years old. How about asking your mom if she will take you both to the mall?
Honestly, though, I think 12 is too young to be dating.

You don't have to pry them apart. Just ask to speak with her privately. If she won't then ask her out anyway.

If you do not know her well enough to talk to her, strange ID call her on her cell phone ?
Send her a text message, or ask to talk to her alone,
You don't need to date if you can not even ask her out.

No its not the right time to be dating because you haven't figured out how to date, or approach a female, and you are still afraid of being rejected and that's always a possibility.
At your age you will be dumped later, it's a matter of when, days weeks, or a month, it makes absolutely no difference. Wrap your head around it and enjoy it while it lasts. Or wait until you no longer fear being dumped.

When you approach her ask her if the two of you can speak in private and if she refuses just come out and ask her if she wants to hang out sometimes.

This is no different. Maybe it seems that way because of your feelings, but its not.

I'm a around the same age as you and a teenage girl so I guess I'm good to answer this...
There's a boy I really like and there's clues he likes me but I'm always to nervous to do anything although I love him...
So if I wanted him to get my attention (which I do), then id probably think the best way would be just to ask her to town or somewhere but just say... ' Hey, I was wondering if you would meet me at *------------* on the *-------*** at **______* I just really need to talk to you alone... '
And then if she comes just simply say how you feel but don't pressure her and if she's nice then shell be kind and understanding and if she's mean then honestly yopur best without her anyway. But remember you ARE complementing her so it can't go that wrong.
Hope I helped...

As a mother of 4 children, my youngest is your age, I have to disagree. 12 is too young to be dating.

12 year olds don't date. They use the word to think they are doing mature stuff, but they are just reacting to those hormones that they haven't figured out quite yet.
