I have a yeast infection and I used 1/3 peroxide and 2/3 water douche and even flushed with water several times afterward. Now, I have severe pelvic cramping

Either you are a fool or you are a troll, one or the other. I can't believe a woman would post on here that she used peroxide and water, douched into her vaginal canal to cure a yeast infection. Who told you to do that, or where did you read that you could? In an age where there is so much information out there to tell you what you can and can't do, it is impossible to believe that a woman did this.
If your post is true, then you have, probably, second degree burns inside your vaginal canal from the peroxide.
You have probably destroyed the good bacteria in there for quite a long time, setting yourself up for infection, after infection.
Get yourself to a medical facility, tell them what you have done, and have them treat you before something else goes wrong.

That is not a cure for yeast, and you may now have yeast further inside. There are common drugs in your drugstore (Monistat) but now you need to see a doctor as well.

Actually, I am not a troll nor am I a fool. I am not here to ask for rudeness. Maybe GOOGLE home remedies for yeast infections and BV and using peroxide. Oh... and I failed to mention I put acidopholis in there after word as well to replace the "good bacteria". Also, I have used monistat. But... since I had no car due to it needing fixed after the storm the other day... I had to do something for relief and it worked. After a few minutes... the cramps ceased. But thank you anyway. :)

I think the biggest thing as well is I am about two start my period. I have never had a yeast infection except in my early teens which the doc at that time said was from too much sugar in my diet. What the heck do I do if I still have the infection on my period? Won't tampons irritate it? I can't wear pads well... I just can't handle the yucky wet feeling. :/ I saw an ad on TV for something called diflucan. I am a bit nervous to ask my doc about it cause he is a guy. I am already embarrassed enough posting on here but at least I don't know any of you.

You had still better get checked out for the possible damage you have done to your vaginal canal.
Good you are not a fool or a troll, From a medical standpoint you got correct information, so take it for free. See your doctor even if he is male, mine is too.
So you are actually telling me you came across Google advice telling you to use peroxide?
Three percent peroxide can only be used as a mouthwash, not used INTERNALLY, or not swallowed. You actually believe what you read on Google where ANYONE can input?

It's worse than that even... read her question again... 1/3 peroxide, 2/3 water... 33% peroxide inside her body! That's crazy!

No she said one third peroxide, two, thirds water. I don't think she meant 33 per cent. Anyway, douching with ANYTHING is not recommended.

33% is 1/3.
Peroxide (that you buy in a drugstore) is 3% peroxide and 97% WATER.
It doesn't hurt the vagina.
I had a deep wound down to the bone and had to flush it several times a day with peroxide.

I thought she meant one third of a cup.
I don't care, joy, if you say peroxide will not hurt the vagina. It is not MEANT to be internal, it is perfect for WOUND CARE, but only once to clean and sanitize.
You will only see a nurse flushing a wound with sterilized water however.
I am saying NO DOUCHING with anything.
God am I talking to a wall here

From what I can tell, over the counter peroxide, what she probably used, was sold at a concentration of 3-6%. With her diluting it would be 1-2%. The strongest you can probably buy over the counter is 35%, but you would have to hunt that down. Anything stronger than that would probably require security clearances, or lab clearance.
So what was used was probably 1-2% which would work as a good anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. It is surprisingly simple, H2O2 a hydrogen per oxygen, but really effective in destroying cells. Now there is a mucual lining in the vaginal canal that probably saved her internal bits from being too terribly hurt, but, as was stated earlier, it would have killed most if not all the normal flora in the canal.
So you've essentially scorched earth'd your Va-jay-jay, and you've inoculated yourself with L. acidopholis. From what you've posted, I assume that you just added some yoghurt and thought that would do it. That unfortunate thing about that particular species is that it isn't common flora in the canal, you're probably going to find: L. crispatus, L. gasseri, L. jensenii, and L. iners, instead. The main reason L. Acidopholis isn't found is because it can't adhere well to the lining of the vaginal canal. Which makes it really hard for it to colonize your canal, and makes it easier for yeast to get in. Think about it, the bacteria isn't dropping the pH low enough to prevent yeast from co-colonizing the canal.
I am not sure that you can get proper inoculations of the aforementioned bacteria in your Va-Jay-Jay. I think for what you've done, you have probably done the best you can. The best thing for you to do I think is leave it alone and use the specific anti-fungal agents the next time you have a yeast infection. Those target the yeast and leave the normal flora alone. It will save you from repeat continuous infections.
A word to the wise, which you are of course. Be careful of what you find on the internet and especially of natural/home remedies for problems. They can work and sometimes they do not. It is really hit and miss and the downside is that you can REALLY hurt yourself. In this case the person could have been using a VERY old container of 3% peroxide. This should have produced a 1% solution but peroxide breaks down easily and the solution could have been as concentrated as 1% but more likely .5% or less. That is a HUGE difference! So what might have worked for her might not have for you. It is all empirical and that's a HUGE problem if you're trying to replicate what was done. There are too many variables and not enough known to solve for all of them.
The best things you can do is talk to your doctor or your OB. You can get them to prescribe something for you which will be covered under insurance if you are hard up for money. Trust medical professionals over the internet. They could be a bad doctor but they'll be better then the ignorant masses on the internet.

Now... how can I either close this so no more post or delete it? I'd rather leave it up so if someone else runs across the same problem they can read all of the above. Just don't want mean people tearing their teeth into my soul lol
