    Kitchen sink cleanout
    Do u need a cleanout for sink to drain right

    A clean out is frequently installed on the drain right before it enters the wall, good if you have one but cleaning a drain can be done without one. Is this a single or double sink and what is the issue?

    Ian be done without one. Is this a single or double sink and what is the issue?
    It broke at the old one so I just put in a staight pipe now it's not draining cloged maybe

    A cleanout won't help the drainage but it sure helps if you have to snake a blockage. Good luck, Tom
