    ask questions about construction
    I buyed a site of area (1000 sq.ft or 50x20 -edited) without knowily I bought it ,after that I came know the fact before 6 years it was huge well of 60feet depth but person ,the who sold land for me closed the well and made into a plot, now can I construct a house on that plot.please give me a solution for it.

    100 sq.ft. is only 10X10. What can you build on that?

    Is the well filled in, or still open with a cover on top?

    filled with concrete stones and stones sorry it is area is 50x20sq.feets

Now can I construct a house on that plot.please give me a solution for it.

    Check with building dept to see if lot is large enough to put a house on.

    Will u have a well and septic system? The smallest lot that I have ever heard of with a well and septic is 100x100 or 1/4 of an acre.

    Are u located in U.S.

    Just for information.

    There is a house in Alexandria, VA that is 7 foot wide. However, it is not on a well and septic.

    Of course it was also built before the bureaucrats got so much power

    Are you sure your local zoning would allow a house on a 1/40 acre plot? Even with a 3 ft setback, the house could only be 14 ft. deep. Where are you located?

    Hi HK

    I have also seen and worked on 2 houses that were no more then 8 ft wide. They were both on city water and sewer system. One of them was an old railroad station converted to a home.
