I'm having trouble with carburator linkage on a Craftsman Eager 1 self propelled lawn
When removing carb. For cleaning I didn't note the locations of the two linkage rods.I had to wait for two weeks for parts to repair carb. Thus really forgetting where linkage goes. Do you have a picture of it ?

Many times I don't have Manuals, but would think 1 for throttle and 1 for choke, Move choke lever, see what moves, move throttle see what moves, now connect where they go, be sure they rotate the correct direction, may change direction?
This is till you find better help.
    Good Luck

The OP used the Report Inappropriate Post link (RIP) rather than posting the information as a follow up.
