I have a 16 year old daughter pregnant by a 17 year old. I live in Florida. Does he have any rights to the unborn child at this time. Do I have to allow him to go to all visits to the Dr

No. The supposed father has no rights regarding an unborn child, until the child is actually born.

And no, he has no right to participate in the mother's visits with her obstetrician/gynecologist, or to attend the birth either, for that matter.

He has no enforceable rights as such until the baby is born and he applies to Court to exercise his right to visitation and/or custody.

Your daughter chooses who goes with her to Doctor's appointments and who is in the Delivery Room with her.

He has no rights till the child is born,

You have no say who goes to the doctors appointment, your daughter does not have to allow you, daughter can allow boyfriend if she wants him there.

Since he is the father, and he wants to be one, and take responsibility, he should be allowed to be there if the daughter wants him there.

I understand being angry, but it is not just the boys "fault" the girl wanted to and agreed to the sex just like the boy.

This boy for the next 20 plus years will be part of your daughters life, no matter if you or daughter wants it or not. And if he is trying to do right, he needs to be supported, not attacked.

He will hopefuly want visits, maybe even joint custody latter. He will be making medical choices perhaps for the child or helping with them. And more

As noted, he has no rights to the child until its born. But then you have no control over your daughter's preferences regarding the treatment of her pregnancy. In that aspect she has nearly complete control. So if she wants him to participate in the pre-natal care and the birth, you have no say.

As Chuck noted, this boy will be a part of your grandchild's life for as long as it lives. Better to make peace with that.

There is one right that he has before birth. Since this is out of Florida then he can get on the putative fathers registry with the state. That way he has some type of legal ties to the child even before birth. That legal bond grows stronger after the child is born. It also prevents the mother from lying in such a way as to claim father unknown.
