That's not exactly how I picture Him, but I think I have much better reasons to believe in God than to believe capitalism destroyed life on Mars.

You do realize that he's using that hyperbole to make a point that unrestrained free market is drying up the water on the planet, right?
I find no reasons to believe in your god so we're all entitled to our opinion.

Yeah... but if the ACLU is any indication... the aetheists seem to fear the man in the sky even more than we do. Or they wouldn't pay any more attention to them then the guy with the World is going to end tomorrow sign on the corner.

Pick any of their numerous lawsuits trying to squash any mention of god or religion.
They waste huge ammounts of time and money trying to silence what they consider a superstition. If they didn't fear it, they would ignore it.

You should realize by now that I'm not stupid.
I find no reasons to believe in your god so we're all entitled to our opinion.
OK, and I'm entitled to mock and laugh at you as you just did us.

They not trying to outlaw anything, they are trying to make the religious types respect the law/constitution. If you weren't worried about the death of religion so much you wouldn't need to have to advertise your religion so much. Isn't religion a personal issue?

So, the whole point of the thread was to mock Chavez. Why would I detract from that fun?

There is no freedom FROM religion in the constitution... its a freedom OF religon... the freedom to practice whatever your religion is. That's FAR different.
Incidentally... how about Muslims imposing their religion on Canadians VIA Sharia...

The Aral Sea is almost bone dry since the days when the commies took over Russia and the surrounding nations. The reason ? The Soviets diverted it's source waters . That environmental disaster was not the result of capitalism.
The Chinese commies created a regional environmental problem with the construction of the 3 Gorge Dam. When it breaks, the flash flood will be an unparalled human disaster .

Coorect, it's a freedom of religion, with no one religion dominating or impossing their values on others.

It's voluntary – both parties (a husband and wife) have to agree to go through the process. But once they do, the decisions rendered by the tribunal are binding."

The foot is in the door... next they push to make it binding for muslims... then they push to make it law for anything involving a Muslim... then push to impose it on everyone...
That's how they do it. Incrementally.
They ruined their part of the world... now they plan to come here and ruin ours too.
Don't be surprised when they start beating your daughter or granddaughter for refusing to wear a head scarf... never mind the fact she may be aetheist or CHristian.
