We (N. Nevada) are 92 currently, and expecting 97 tomorrow. Last week was in the 80's. To me, that is perfect. Next week, they are calling for the 70's.

To me, I think the 70's is perfect. I just can't wait for that to happen.

In Arizona, you'll have a long wait, right? Isn't that your winter weather?

I just looked at Big Sur,CA where we are getting married next week. It's calling for the 70's. That will be really pleasant there. :)

Yes. Our winter consists of 60-70's. It's very nice. That will last until March, then back to the good old hot days.

Congrats on the wedding.:) You will have a nice one, with it in the 70's. That's perfect.

Your winter weather sounds so nice. We're typically around 20-30 degrees, with the nights dipping lower. The coldest we ever got that I remember was a minus 24. That was bad news.

Thanks. It will be nice if it stays in the 70's. We hope to marry outside on a bluff overlooking the ocean. If not we'll move indoors, but I always wanted to marry outside.

I will, if anyone is still around. We won't get back until the end of October. Hope there is still a chat thread going then.

It is sad that people are leaving. Hopefully they will stay.

How exciting to get married. How long have you two been together?

Just over a year. I knew him casually as a neighbor and fellow runner for a year before that, but he'd see me with my ex and I knew he was dating someone. One day last summer, about a month after I broke up with the ex, that all changed... and then my whole world changed. :D

We spent 3 days in Utah last month Martin. The arches are very beautiful.

We're thinking 2 years. I'll be 30 and he'll be 34. Allowing time to have more than one and not knowing how long it will take to get pregnant, I'm not so sure I want to wait any longer.

That's a perfect age! By then you will have had your fun with each other alone. You look a lot younger then what I thought. I thought you were in your early 20's. Lol

Wow, you're kidding. I'm glad to hear that. I've never heard it before - usually just the opposite. People think I'm older than I am. It must be how mature I act. ;)

The Moab , Arches area is home base for running The Colorado and The Green Rivers.
I spent from April to September there for a number of years.
But my time was on one of those rivers hauling people through the white water.
I got 4 days a month off to go to Greenriver , or Moab
It is one of my favorite places

Yes we had dinner and took the boat up river for the sunset scenic tour, absolutely fantastic. And I loved the historical areas and the petroglifs also. A different and very beautiful area.

    And the sunsets... wow.

I went to Chicago shortly after the Democratic Convention to protest at the trial of the Chicago 7.

The sunsets through the clouds of tear gas were better than I expected.

My more recent visits were less hectic. I really like it there, exciting city... in ways you don't expect.

90s cartoon kids movie about the circus [ 4 Answers ]

Okay, so the movie that I cannot figure out was made in the 90s, I think, because I was a 90s kid. I remember watching it in daycare. But anyway... the movie took place near a carnival or circus and it had a boy in it too. I don't remember the plot or anything. Wow, that shows how much of the 90s I...
