Hey cat,I decided to come in here for some shelter from the brewing storm.

To avoid talking in code I'm going to keep my fingers crossed you 'hear' me.

On another note,I got some fresh salmon (its not salmon season, don't tell anyone!) can't wait to find a really good recipe for it.

Actually its so beautiful I want to name it.

    I sooo get that!

We name special ornaments,we have the 'long man of limerick' which is an african piece I got as a gift.

We have 'poo' which is a ceramic cat my daughter picked out 10 years ago and named it as only an 8 year old can.

Billysheepbamurphy... yep all one word,he's a sheep that the kids made of pottery clay one christmas morning, all four kids picked part of his name.

    Ah, the memories. :)

I wonder if Stringer names his decorations? It would probably take several volumes just to write them all down if he does. :p

We are doing fine Red as I hope you and yours are too, thank you for asking.

Yes, I have already begun making plans for this year's décor... one highlight will be a large black coffin with a mechanical skeleton rising up out of it... can't wait. And also laying out th elighting patterns...

Oh boy, oh boy o... BOY!! :) (I know, I know... but it relaxes me.)

I don't necessarily name them, but they get new 'friends' each year and the storage space gets larger and larger...

Sand is kind of white. :(

When I was in my teens, my grandparents started spending winters in FL or South Texas. We would visit them for Christmas so I know what you mean.

When I moved to southern TN, I pretty much gave up on the concept of a white Christmas, but it should at least be cold.

It's got to be a white Christmas! One year we my family and I spent Christmas in Budapest, it was so magical. I have always had a passion for WW2 and seeing the old war torn buildings was amazing in it's self, but to see the town lit up in lights and decorations and the people dressed in the fashions of Europe, it was right out of a Christmas carol.

I find now with E around, I found a bit of that Christmas spirit I lost in my teens. It's so fun to do the sleigh rides, and the ice skating, snow men, tobogganing, etc... And it's even better because she remembers who Santa was from last year, so this year she is really going to be into it. I can't wait!

Oh you guys! What I would do just to have it drop to 80 here. Today is September 28th, and it is still 107 here. I miss Chicago winters. *sigh*

We have some awesome White Christmases here in Ut.

Clear up to your B Ut street. And higher occasionally.

It is an experience that stays with you , it is staggering to see 18" to 24" of sparkling snow on everything. And the colored Christmas lights sparkling and reflecting off the snow makes you feel like you live in a Christmas card.

And shoveling your way out of the house , to the driveway , then to the street in order to get your car out... makes you feel like you're the centerpiece in a Get Well Card . Or will be when you black out from shoveling 22 tons of beauty out of your way. The ambulance lights reflect off the snow nicely , even better than the lights from the Christmas tree.

    Happy Holidays!

Still high 80's here, a little higher than average.

    Coldest day recorded in September is 28 F. -2.22 Sept 13 1928
    The warmest 90 F 32.2 C Sept 30 ,2002

Right now is the best weather we get all year, and I always try to get out both days.

90s cartoon kids movie about the circus [ 4 Answers ]

Okay, so the movie that I cannot figure out was made in the 90s, I think, because I was a 90s kid. I remember watching it in daycare.
