What size flex duct runs off a 5 ton air handler
Have a 5 ton air handler with a 4 ton condenser. Off my supply plenum I have 3-6", 1-9" and 1 10" flex runs I know they are too small. Will replaceing the 9 and 10" runs with 2-12" runs be enough so I don't restrick this handler

Here it is. Do the sq in calc on the flex to get the sq in needed for the tonage.

One more question, I'm way undersized in the supply ducts. Will that cause the 24 degree temp drop I'm getting and some frost on the suction line?

That could be one of the items to cause that.

Thanks, borrowed a leak detector, no leaks found, thought the airflow restriction might be the cause. Didn't notice this summer with 95+ degrees every day.
