    Not received payment lieu of notice as agreed
    I was dismissed on the grounds of sickness, my employer agreed in writing to pay me 8 weeks in lieu of notice should I have received my salary as normal as I have received no payment and have no money to pay bills, hope someone can help!!

    I would discuss this with your employer and show them the letter they signed. If that does not resolve your issue you should talk to an attorney and seek legal action against them.

    I'm not sure of what you are asking - you were dismissed and your employer has agreed to pay you 8 weeks salary.

    Are you asking if you should receive the 8 weeks severance PLUS your regular salary for the 8 weeks?

    Your lack of punctuation is making this hard to understand. I assume that you have a medical condition which caused you to be released from your job - your employer gave you a letter stating that you would be given 8 weeks salary instead of being fired... correct?

    Send them a letter with a copy of their agreement stating that if you do not receive your money, you will be contacting an attorney.

    And as a side note to pready: do NOT send me personal e-mail just to complain. If you have something to say to me, keep it on the board.
