LCD HDTV, picture is great if directly in front, but washed out if 3 ft from center,
My Samsung 37" LCD HDTV has a great picture if you are directly in line with the TV, but if anyone is 3 ft to my left or right it loses its color and seems washed out. I can't
Believe that's normal. I tried using the adjustments but the washed out is still there.
Is there some adjustment I'm not using??

This is common with some older LCDs or if you are changing elevation of either the TV or your view.

Sometimes they'll look a little dark if you are sitting on the floor for example. What model is this TV?

It is a Samsung LN37C530F1FX2A which I just got 5/5/10. It of course is under warranty but I wanted to attempt to fix it before I had service.

If you purchased it that recently, I would check with the retailer to see what their return/exchange policy is. That way you can just get a new one rather than bothering to fix it yourself. Double-check with the display unit too to see if this is possibly a flaw of the TV itself (although I do not believe you should have that issue with the C530 model).
