Depends on where you're standing.
I'd rather have John Lennon in my house than the Pope any day.

Wondering how people could react to something said by a band so vehemently. People knew the remark they made wasn't true.
Like all the remarks made by Pat Robertson, about Elvis Presley being in Hell.. He said it with that condescending phony smile of his.
I say a man who runs for President and says he's a minister of God... is either fooling himself or lying.

The pope isn't God, but the Holy Spirit is far more enjoyable than Lennon

I agree fully. It's the Holy Spirit who lives in us if we are saved. But I do like John Lennon.:)

The christian god has no place in my home. Neither does the christian devil.
The beatles, however, have several places in my music playlist. I even have one of their records, even if it is rather scratched.

Different strokes for different folks. America land of the free. You have the right to your opinion, just as I do.

Exactly. I just want to know how a current events topic got turned into a religious debate. So, I decided to derail it a bit.

It did didn't it? I always said I wouldn't argue politics or religion and I have broken my own rule. I guess the audacity of the Catholic Church
"forgiving" anybody just irked me. Anyway hope the kitties are good and Edith.
