    If you are beening sued by landlord and you didn't pay rent do to field of inspection
    Well we are beening by I'll landlord because of unpaid rent.But we are not paying rent for the living condition we are living in.

    Hello lace:

    If you don't pay the rent, you'll be evicted no matter what the reason is. If you have a problem with the conditions, tell us what they are and what you've done so far and we'll tell you how to handle them.

    I don't know how your landlord is "beening" you but it doesn't sound pleasant, whatever it is.

    As others have said, you cannot just stop paying rent. If you believe the residence is harmful or dangerous in anyway, you should have notified the landlord. Did you not do a walk-through prior to signing the lease, or did the condition arise after the lease had already began?

    Where is the rent money going? Are you putting it into escrow, or are you simply not paying it?
