    Dui probation violation
    Have 2 duis in under 10 yrs. Sentenced to intermediate punishment of 90 days to 5 years. Did my 90, got out. Admitted to drinking to my p.o. was thrown in jail for 8 days. Released and put on scram monitor for 90 days. Monitor wasn't working properly the first three weeks, called p.o. brought it in. he said to go home and if it messed up again he would notify me immediately. Problem is, he didn't call me to come in until 4 days after he was notified of a tampering. Accused me of drinking, I denied it, asked him why he didn't call or come to my house and check on me. He said he didn't work weekends. I was immediately thrown in jail again. Is there a protocol for responding to him being notified? Because I can't prove I wasn't drinking 4 days later. Cost me a grand to bail out 7 days later. Have hearing tomorrow, expert is testifying that it was tampered with. Not only that, I've had new monitor since getting out, and that's not working properly either. I called my p.o. and he had me run a refridgerater magnat on it. Doesn't that sound like tampering as well? What should I do?

    When it failed, you don't wait on him to call, you call,

    It appears the PO does not believe you fully about it not working properly. You could ask to hire your own tech inspect the unit they are going to use in court as evidence against you

    I didn't know it had failed until he called me into office.
