    How do I get full custody of my nephew?
    My sister is 17, she turned 17 on June 3rd 2009 and had a baby boy on 8,26,09 she acts like he is an inconvience she doesn't take care of him she makes my mom do it, she or the father neither one have a job and won't try to find one, I'm 22 married for 4 years have a 4yr old son , I don't know what to do,

    Well, it depends. Does she want you to have full custody? If she and the legal father are opposed, there is nothing you can do.

    First, please pay more attention to posting guidelines. At the top of Children forum (where this was moved from) there is a Read First sticky. Had you read it first, as instructed you would have known that questions of a legal nature should be posted here.

    Forget custody. Ask then if they will allow you to have guardianship of the child. While custody and guardianship are similar, guardianship is more of a temporary thing. Tell them you think your nephew can benefit more by being in your home environment. At least until she and the father can provide a more stable home.
