Congrats Marta, way to go. You'll do great, I know it, especially because you've got a great support system, your hubby. :)

    Way to go! :)

Thanks, I'll tell her... she is higher than a kite presently.

NO, I don't mind at all, she earned it, actually it was my idea and of course her sis thought so too, cause she will benefit also...

But I wish you guys could see her... she is bouncing around like a pre-teen. :D Makes me feel good.

Today I'm not tickled at all. Planning a party for a friend. I don't need this today. I have tons of people coming over and my house isn't ready, I'm not ready and I'm not in the mood.

I'm going to be having a little sit down with our friend today, tell him that this is the last time I'm letting him use our house for a party. I simply have too much on my plate this week, the next few weeks, and I needed this like I need another hole in my head.

Yes, I'm complaining. No, it won't change anything. But it's really sad when you're having guests over and all you think about is "I just want to get this over with".

    Too much right now Stringer.

What kind of friend insists you have a party for him when he knows you've had the week from hell?

I have to wonder. He obviously thinks of no one but himself, and I'm tired of it.

    Okay, vent over.

I have to get going. I'll be back during coffee breaks. ;)

    1. Well the first thing is... friend, that's what you are calling him?

    2. I thought that he landed on you that he can't even pay for any of this..

    3. A friend does NOT treat you like this (period).

    4. I thought that you were going to tell him that since he couldn't even pay or help, that you were not going to do it... what happened to that?

    5. Move away so he can never find you again, change your phone number and your name... he is not a friend, he is a taker...

Sorry to go off topic but we had a mini-party here last night...
We went to the pub for a friends birthday and a guy that she barely knew and a good friend of hers tagged along back to our place.

This guy was not invited, he just decided to follow us. (We walked, it was only about half an hour back to ours)
Me being me I couldn't tell him to go away as I thought the birthday girl wanted him there... and he did shout us a round of drinks while we were out.

All night he asked us how much everything in our house cost us to buy!

Some people just have no manners what-so-ever.

Oh she did know him (that came out wrong), they went to school together a few years back but they hadn't talked for years and even at school they weren't really friends...
But we have an awesome security system with panic buttons and everything so it's all good, apparently he is just a bit strange from what they told me :)
