Questions on relocating washer & dryer
I would like to relocate my washer and dryer along with the tub basine. My gas dryer needs a longer gass line and the washer needs a longer driane pipe .

    (1) Do I need to bust uo my concreat floor for the plumbing for the drain? Or could I run the drain pipe along the side of the wall, and into the exzisting drain hole that's all ready there.

    (2) How do I know when the fitting on my gas line is tight enough to where it won't leak.

    (3) Can my washer be close by my electrical power box that there is a gfi switch.

How far do you want to move them?

Extensions for washer hoses can be purchased.

Longer flexable gas connection pipe can be purchased.

Don't know. Describe your existing drain piping. Is this in a basement, is the existing drain exposed or in the wall? Do you have a washer stand pipe or does your washer drain into the sink?

You pressureize the line and check connections with soapy water (Mr Bubbles).
What type of gas piping do you have, black iron pipe or copper tubing painted yellow?

There is no restriction relative to the location of an appliance and the breaker panel other than there must be 30" of clear space in front of a breaker panel.

Slowly I turn... picking up the phone... dialing number... going to ask if your washer and dryer is running... tell you to catch it.
