    First date, I will pay, and expect to pay. No problems with that. Subsequent dates, however, can and sometimes should be equal. Or I pay for dinner, you pay for activity after dinner (movie, bowling, whatever people do on dates).

    When hubby and I were dating it was 50/50. I made more money then he did, besides, I don't like owing anyone anything.

    No, we didn't sit down and say, okay the bill is $10.50 you owe $5.25, it was just like you said, I pay for dinner, you pay for after dinner fun. We didn't count every penny, but it was equal.

    You go bowling on a date? No wonder you're single. ;)

    I haven't been on a date in so long I have no idea what they do anymore.

    Now, back in the day, when I was ahem, young, we did the movie thing, the house party thing, the sex in the back seat of the car thing. You know, teen stuff! ;)

    Sex in the movies is great!! The car thing is out unless you have a designated driver behind the wheel. House parties are still in but not as fun/safe... to many idiots out there now-a-days...
