No. If it was my responsibility to pay, then it is absolutely the woman's responsibility to put out at any requested time.

How long until the is an expectation for a female to contribute?
Is a month to early for a gentlemen to request that the female start sharing the dating expense?
I think as a man, I probably would never ask.
But as a female, I would never continue to date someone with out stepping up to the plate once in awhile.

I say definitely not a mans responsibility. Most women have careers now, make enough money to support themselves, why should the guy have to fork over all his money to go out on a date?
Equal rights means equal in all ways.
Just my opinion.

Mine too, but thus far I feel like the minority on this thread.

If I have to eventually "ask" a girl to chip in, we wouldn't be dating long. I don't see a problem with the second or third date being shared equally. Just my opinion though. Maybe that is why I don't date gals that long...

I agree, as a guy, if she wasn't stepping up a month in and I had to request a split... I would just stop dating.
Now I have had guys buy me drinks at the bar for months... with me only buy an occasional round here and there... but I realize that because I am so fun drunk, it pays itself back.

I don't see a problem with all dates being shared equally. You're not married, you don't share your incomes, why should you be forced to pay for everything just because you have a penis?
Just saying. ;)
