In addition, before applying the cream--I showered and exfoliated with St. Ives scrub (the blemish free one with sycilic acid 2%--get it from wal-mart or any local grocery store) I let that say on my body for like 40 minutes. but starting tm I will only do it for 20 min. OH MY GOD!! You, MY FACE LIGHTEN W/IN A FEW MIN. OF ME APPLYING IT! My entire body is so smooth. My face is use to HQ, so it must have immediately recognized it or something. I am so happy--I couldn't stop telling my GOD Thanks! Okay girls, whether you want a 20%, 30%, 40%, 60%, etc. YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO DO IT YOURSELVES!! Ladies get your butts online ASAP and order some 100% HQ powder--from any online photography store--just be sure that it don't say photo grade HQ!! You may be able to go to a local photography store in your own location and pick some up. Make sure you dissolve the powder in ETHYL ALCOHOL--google the solubility for HQ ladies. After that add plenty of water--this will help it to disolve along which store bought lotion of any kind. All right Girls, don't forget to figure out percent concentration. YOU HAVE TO USE A lot ALOT--I MEAN A lot OF ETHYL ALCOHOL. DON'T worry about measuring percent consentration at this point--most of the alcohol will evaporate--and this is true for water too if you plan to dissolve the HQ in water. However, water cannot dissolve as much of the HQ, but be sure to add water to the HQ (dissolved in ethyl) and your choice of store bought lotion. I am going to order some glycolic acid to add to my cream. And if you guys can get retinol and retin-a (the best) then go for it. You need to get a cell regeneration agent (i.e. glycolic acid or retinol and retin-a) because like Chandani said--it works well with HQ, because you see results quicker. Are you can wait for body to go through the process of mitosis (cell-turn over) but I hope you have 28 days to wait--as your body will undergo mitosis every 28 days!! All right GIRLS, LET'S GET LIGHTER, YEAHHHHHHHHH!! P.S. Chandani, girl do not spend your money on 30grams of HQ--it work, but so will your own compound for way less. And I don't know how fast it work on the rest of the body because I only used it on my face. |

If you don't it will be very hard to dissolve it in the cream mixture. You should not have to reheat it--but I had to because I didn't dissolve it first before mixing it with the cream. Pure HQ is in the form of crystals. Once completely dissolved in ethyl--the HQ should appear as a powder like substance--in big pieces. You must smash it and then add it to some lotion--and then add water as you see fit (the water is there to help the cream glide over skin for easy application). Don't forget about a cell renewal agent--I'm looking for one on eBay right now. GoW has one, but I want to check all my options to get the best deal. If you find that your skin gets irritated--do some research on topical steroids. In fact, before you start to even make the cream do some research on Kilgman's HQ formula--one of the most original HQ formulas. Proceed when you feel comfortable. Remember, it's trial and error--but you will learn so much through researching and preparing your own formula--and you don't have to question it's authencity!! Also do a general research for HQ (you need to know it's boiling point, etc.) |

If not--you might be SOL, because they have a big orange sticker on the package that saids "HYDROQUINONE"--I think it's federal law that they give notice to avoid negligence to carriers and to the receipient of the package. But you should try to get it locally first--at least within your country. |

You are brave!! Prisygirl I didn't trust mono on my face or BA. The mono spots started to move to my face but I believe the 8% made the one spot blend in. You are BRAVE... Im glad this worked. But everything takes time. I know that the mono had to go deep down in my skin before I saw the first spots. The stuff is in my skin now & its popping up everywhere. I know the HQ may take time also. U saw results on your face immediately?? |
