    Finally.Recovered from Monobenz MESS!
    Hello Everyone

I don't know if you still remember me and my terrible results from using monobenzone. It happened last year when my hands were terribly messed up after a few weeks of mono using. I had to see couple of dermatologist and nothing helped at all.

I went back to my country and saw a dermatologist there, she prescribed me a cream " compound mix" and I have used it for a few months. Got to tell you girls I almost gave up on that cream too because I could hardly see improvement. Thanks god my hands now are totally back to normal and no more dark rough skin or any leathery layers!

NOW... I have been reading that some people had success with Hq 20%... my skin is very light, but suffering brown spots and dark elbows... I only need to use it to lighten up these problem areas. I also have a dark brown line around my lips " looks like it has been drawn with thin lip liner" I hate it and want to get rid of it...

I wish if you guys can be honest and share your experiences.

    Your inputs are greatly appreciated!:o

There are a lot of lip lightening creams out there that you can try. A lot of people on this site had success with godiva lipbalm or fresh up cream. I'm using this lip mask called crystal collagen. It hasn't been doing much though because I only used it twice. I lightened the dark border around my lips using lemon, but the rest of my lips are still dark, but you can still try it just use a little lemon juice and wear lip balm or vaseline over it.

    CELINA

Experimenting with Monobenzone, then Hydroquinone whatever the % is just a downward spiral toward MORE paradoxical hyperpigmentation, really.

They cause a chemical burn which results in a temporary lightening while the skin has time to react to the assault of these harsh chemicals...

... but in the end, the skin hyperpigments, post-inflammation

Tretinoin works well to break up the brown patches that follow use of monobenzone or hydroquinone. Ask a doc about it

Everbody has a different reaction to these products.

Thanks for your answer! I use mono 40% cream for a year and I did not have bad experience with the cream maybe because I was mixing it with almond *** and Re**** and I have vitiligo but my natural skin color is almost the same white as my vitiligo, my skin is very fair and sensitive... so I'm not sure about buying it so pure, I need help!
