    Wage Garnishments
    Can wages be garnished if you are employed and covered under the Jones Act?:confused:

    I thought the Jones Act addressed personal injury cases and liability only, did not offer any other type of protection. I can't find anything to the contrary.

    Maybe I'm not right in the head, but all I can find on "Jones Act" is a maritime injury law. How do you feel that a)you're protected under this law or b)your wages shouldn't be garnished?
