    Broken fireplace vent chain
I have a brick wood burning fireplace where the chimney vent is operated by pulling it open with a chain located just above the box. The chain itself broken where it connects to the vent.

How do I thread the chain back through the pipe and reconnect the chain?

    Thankd for taking the time.

This is something mechanical that would have to be figured out ON SITE since I know of no universal repair for this item except to say you will have to fish something down through the pipe to attach the chain to then use your Ingenuity to do the attachment.
