    Sick puppy
    I just got my new puppy and for some reason she won't eat or drink. She sleeps all the time, but I'm afraid that she is not getting any energy to walk around or to play. Is this normal? Should I be worried?:confused:

    I think you should show her to a vet. Puppies are generally full of energy. Maybe she has a slight fever. You can check on the net for the symptoms, but showing her to the vet would be good.

    My puppy was like that when we first got him too. Just let him do his thing and get familiar with his new environment. If it goes on for more than a week, take him to the doctor. And make sure NOW that he has all his shots, Parvo especially.

    How old is your pup? How long has he gone without food/water? Very young puppies do tend to sleep a lot, however they are also quite vunerable to illness, such as Parvo.
