    Name Change
    My daughter is 5 years old. She has my last name. Her father hasn't been around since she was a year and half. He doesn't pay child support or visit or live in the state. He is another dead beat. I am getting married in 2 weeks, and my fiancé has practically been her father since she was 2. He does everything for her. My name is changing once we get married and I want her to have his last name too. How can I get her name changed?:rolleyes:

    I would need to know what country you are in to be more specific on an answer. If you phone your local police department they should be able to tell you.
    If you're in Canada, I can give you each step to take.
