    Max number/size breakers.
    I have a Square D 100A main. There is no main breaker in the panel. What is the most number/size of breakers I can put in it. Right now I have 10 Slots. A 30amp, 5 20 amps and 4 15 amps. If I change the breakers to tandem breakers what is the max amps I can put in? Right now I have 190 amps. If I swap out to tandem I can go to 350 but I don't know what the formula is for determining the max?

    No more than 42 circuits can be in any one panel, The load does not go by the count or total amps of the branch circuits. The load connected to the panel can be calculated depending on the type of circuits that will be in the panel, such as a home, addition, shop, store.

    If this is a home, need total square footage of livable space, list any major electric appliances type of heat and size AC to size a service or panel.

    You say you want to go from 190 to 350 Amps, that sounds like a 60 and a 100 amp breaker?

    Sq Footage is 1224. Electric Range, and Fridge are the only two big items.

    Is this panel for a full home? Including washer, dryer (gas I assume) hot water, heat, air conditioning?

    Please explain the reason for your question on size of panel.

    It is for a full home. Washer and dryer is on a dedicated 15 amp. (dryer is gas), Hotwater is gas. I am looking to expand the panel because I want to put in Central air and heat. Currently there is no central air or heat only wall furnaces.

    What kind of heat and size AC are you planning? I need those sizes to do a complete service rating. I am assuming you want to know the total calculated load that will be connected once the renovations are completed.
